What language does this course use for examples?

I am a grad student taking a data and algo class that is taught in java. I am new to java and also quite awful at math so looking for some supplemental learning materials...

The language is Python. It is mentioned @0:47 of the video. You can tell in part because the file names use extension py and they are run by entering python filename.py in the console.
