What to do?

Hi,

I'm currently trying to learn OOP in PHP, and would like to ask what would be some good projects to do to practice OOP?

I'm also wondering when is a good time to learn Laravel, Drupal, Wordpress etc? And what would be the best to start learning?

Hi Henrik,

The OOP PHP Basics is an excellent place to start here on Treehouse, if you haven't taken that course already. From there you'd dealt with much of the basics of PHP and you can move on to broader PHP topics like connecting to a database with PHP, building websites driven by PHP or of course WordPress.

I don;t know much about Drupal or Laravel but there's plenty of content on WordPress including 2 tracks that I can vouch will teach you a lot about using and developing websites on that platform.

But if it's OOP Basics you want to learn start here. :-)

Good luck!

Hi Jonathan :-)

Thank you for the reply.

I know there is a OOP basic course here on treehouse, but I meant if anyone had some ideas for projects to practice the OOP after completing the course :-)
