What will you recommend for web designing: Macbook Pro or Microsoft Surface?

I am looking for a portable workstation for web designing and front end web development. My old machine is falling apart. Now which exact model would you recommend for my specific needs?

Hi Harsh.

Personally i use a Macbook Pro, it's working really great. I got the 13" so it's great for traveling, and the times i am stationary (most of the time!) i hook it up to a 25" screen, so the screen size is never a problem. I am actually not sure what to tell you more than: it just works!

The thing is though - If i would go and buy the Surface Pro or Surface Book - i would probably feel exactly the same about those machines. I am actually quite interested in the Surface Book, and i think that it would work just as well as my Macbook Pro.

So my recommendation is that if it is possible, go to a local store and try them out, see which one you feel that you would be most comfortable carrying, writing on and so on. Because in the end i think both will be able to do the job just as well as the other one. If someone else would be able to confirm this, as i have not yet done any work on a windows machine though, but i can't see why it wouldn't work.
