this isn't working for me either. kind of frustrating, I've tried putting the code down into the console and it works! just not on this course page.

Hello Nat!

This passes all three (using concatenation):

let firstName = "Nat";
let lastName = "Center";
let role = "developer";

let msg = firstName + " " lastName + ": " + role.toUpperCase();

(Make sure the spacing is accurate.)

This passes all three (using a template literal):

let firstName = "Nat";
let lastName = "Center";
let role = "developer";

let msg = `${firstName} ${lastName}: ${role.toUpperCase()}`;

(Don't forget the backticks.)
