What's wrong with this git command?

Tried to commit a file by doing:

git commit README.md -m "Adding README.me"

and

git commit README.md -m "Adding README.me"

But get bummed every time in the challenge, but works in my machine.

Is it correct that you pasted twice the same command ? The first should be to add the file to the staging area, with the command "add" I believe.

So the commands will be:

git add README.md
git commit README.md -m "Adding README.me"

I did as you say, but the error continues. But, this following command did the magic.

git commit -m "Adding README.me"

Thanks for the help, anyway.
