when i add clearfix to the footer. Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing. Get Help. how can i fix this?

It seems to be an issue with the evaluation engine. Your CSS syntax is correct, but it seems the engine wants all the classes on their own line:

.footer-nav {
  float:left;
}

.footer-nav li {
  float:left;
}

.logo{
  float:right;
}

.clearfix::after {
  content: "";
  display: table;
  clear: both;
}
