When I am resizing an artboard, the dimensions stay proportionate. How do I turn this off?

When I am resizing an artboard, the dimensions stay proportionate. How do I turn this off?

I am trying to follow this tutorial but the video says nothing about this. I keep getting the wrong sizes.

you have this little chain-symbol in between your width and height ... when you click it, the symbol "breaks" and the dimensions will not stay proportionate anymore ...
