When I entered npm i in the terminal, it was not recognized as the name of a cmdl function, script file, or executable.

I installed the node.js and npm extensions. I opened my working folder using MS Visual Studio Code for grocery-list. I selected the {} package.json file. I selected the terminal window and typed " npm i "

npm: The term 'npm' is not recognized as a name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or executable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

This is my current location: PS C:\Users\jsand\Downloads\react-basics\react-basics\START-HERE\grocery-list>

Hey Joseph Andrieux 👋

This error happens when npm is not installed on your machine so you'll want to make sure that node/npm was installed successfully or try installing it again 🙂
