When i get to task 3 i get an error saying to return task 1

You have to put the duration in quotes or else it is looking for a variable by that name - in this case it is the word "slow".

Here is the passing code:

$(".warning").hide();
$(".warning").show("slow");

or you can also chain them to consolidate your code:

$(".warning").hide().show("slow");
