When I go to the preview of my website, I must click the index.html link to see it. Why doesn't it link directly?

My page shows links to index.html, the img folder and the css folder. Then I click the index.html folder to see my real preview. The other difference is that my name and designer are not highlighted like links as they are in the video. Only my Portfolio, About and Contact are links. Thank you for your help!
