When I open a connection between cyberduck and my web host, there are no files there....where did I go wrong?

my host is godaddy.com

If you haven't placed any files previously there won't be any there. Usually just folders and the one you want to upload is www I think but I would check with your hosting provider. That folder is the one your domain points to when you visit it through the browser and it loads index.html
