JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Build a Quiz Challenge, Part 1 Solution

When I preview the workspace my answers show up instead of the questions.

var questions = [ ['What color is the sky?', 'Blue'], ['What color are leaves in the spring?', 'Green'], ['What is the course about?', 'JavaScript'],

];

var correctAnswers = 0 var question; var answer; var response; var HTML;

for ( var i=0; i < questions.length; i +=1) { question = questions [i][0]; question = questions [i][1]; response = prompt(question); response = parseInt(prompt(question)); if (response === answer) {correctAnswers += 1;}

}

html = "You got" + correctAnswers + "question(s) right.";
print(html);

function print(message) { document.write(message); }

What am I missing?

I made two changes:

   question = questions [i][0];
   //Below you are reassigning question to the second value in your list data
   //question = questions [i][1];
  //This should be answer as follows:
   answer = questions [i][1];
   response = prompt(question);
  //Below parseInt is not needed since your answers are text. In addition you are prompting the question a second time. You can
  //eliminate this line
  // response = parseInt(prompt(question));
