WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Installing WordPress 1 Click WordPress Install

when I try to log in to wordpress (mysite.com/wp-admin/) a 404 page comes up?

I have a GoDaddy domain, I used to have it with a InstantPage setup. Then I bought the Hosting for students hosting and linked my domain to it. I canceled my InstantPage account and changed the nameservers to ns1.vm3783.sgvps.net and ns2.vm3783.sgvps.net and I also changed my A(host) IP in Zone File to the one hosting for students sent me. I already installed wordpress in the cpanel, but still when i try to login with mysite.con/wp-admin/ a 404 page not found appears

Is that error linked to the changing IP on the A (host)? how can I fix that?

Propogation can take up to 24 hours. So if you just switched everything, wait a little bit. Clear your cookies/cache/dns cache etc. Also make sure you installed wordpress in the right place.

Hey thanks a lot, you were right! I tried again right now and everything was just fine... Thanks for the answer!

Hi Jose,

Ghost Code is right. I recently did the same thing as you (with GoDaddy as well) and it was sorted within the day.
