When I'm trying to add page "Portfolio Grid w Custom Posts" as a sub item, after I click "save menu" it appears at top

When I'm trying to add page "Portfolio Grid w Custom Posts" as a sub item, after I click "save menu" it jumps to the top level, so I can't push this menu item anywhere as a sub item (always jumps up when I save menu). When I visit site it appears at navigation menu, when I click on it it says "page not found". I deleted the whole menu and then tried to create new - so basically it can't be saved as I want - top level with sub items. After clicking "save" all menu items jump to top level.

What can I do here? What to check?

Update - just solved this problem.

In case someone will have similar issues: I just tried another browser. I worked in Google Chrome from start, then I tried Safari and imagine my surprise when it works in Safari! I'd never thought Chrome would have let me down like this and I've spent quite a bunch of time checking all my files before I tried Safari...
