CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Selectors Descendant Selectors

when trying to target the descendant paragraph of the main-content I use div and it doesn't register even though working

When trying to use the "div" to target the paragraph descendant of the main-content it works the the quiz/objective doesn't recognize it.

Hey Sheila, The question wants the <p> tag inside the <div>, so it would be div first then p. It also asked to specify the class, so the answer would look like:

}

.main-content p {
    font-weight: bold;
}

footer p {
        color: slategrey
}
