WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Installing WordPress The Famous 5-Minute WordPress Install

When typing in mywebsite.com/wp-admin it takes me to the Wordpress login instead of the next steps shown in the video.

I can't continue with the steps in the video, when my website takes me straight to the login.

Something similar happened to me at this point in the course. If I'm not mistaken, the "one-click" install video was shown right before the "5-minute" install video. If you carried out all the steps associated with the "one-click" installation process, you will have effectively skipped over some of the steps involved with the "5-minute" install.

I believe you'll be okay if you skip the rest of the video in question, and take the quiz. One important difference, though, will be that your database will already be configured (this is automatic in the "one-click" install, but manual in the "5-minute" install).

Maybe some others can confirm or modify what I've said...but the same thing happened to me. And I turned out just fine. :)
