Where are the Tutorials for implementing Login System?

why there are no Tuts regarding login/registration using PHP. I mean like that's regarded as basic for every website! Or is there something I did not see? I have tried googling it, and I got number of tutorials. But many are outdated, deprecated. Is there any good tutorial in the web, confirming to standards and all?

I'm not sure of the exact reason why they don't exist, but to be honest there are countless tutorials covering that exact subject on Google, you are right in the fact that it has been done so many times and as a result there's a ton of tutorials out there on how to accomplish it, perhaps that's why there isn't a tutorial here (yet at least) that is specifically dedicated to that subject.
