Where did i go wrong in the making of this Program? How should it look when typed correctly?

Im having difficulty knowing where to place the title headers.

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title> Hershey Greenspan | Desighner </title> </head>
<body> </body> </html>

Your code looks correct except DOCTYPE should be all capitalized.

But everytime i try to submit my answer this error message pops up.

Bummer! A title element needs to appear between the <head> and </head> tags

Oh, okay. It seems to be a problem with your formatting (you have html, head, meta, and title tags all on the same line). I was able to pass with your code when everything is put on its own line:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title> Hershey Greenspan | Desighner </title>
  </head>
  <body>
  </body>
</html>
