HTML How to Make a Website Beginning HTML and CSS Introduction to HTML and the Portfolio Project

Where did the project files go?

A couple of months ago, I could download the 'Project' zip under Downloads. This zip file would contain the images, html files, and such needed for the project. Now it just downloads a zip labeled 'HowToMakeAWebsite-Stage1-Video#", with a different number based on which class video I click the Project link under. Each contains a blank index.html file.

Hey Elizabeth,

If I remember correctly, and just checking the course outline quickly, I think the setup of the course will include a different download for each video. So, naturally, the first video's files will just be a blank HTML file. As the course progresses, the code will be updated with each download and as files are needed, they will be included in the download. For example, once you get to Stage 6 in the course, the image files are part of the ZIP you download for S6V1.

I remember that it was a bit annoying, but you don't need to download everytime... I think you should be able to get by with only downloading 2 or 3 project files, and then just at the needed folders to your local development folder.

Future courses you may do, and more current courses (for the most part), use a different setup for providing project files.

Keep Coding! :)

Ok, that is why I wasn't seeing the images. I wasn't going far enough into the course. It had been a while since I originally went through it and i had forgotten how far in you needed to go to get the pictures and such.
