Where do these packages come from?

I'm confused about this. We search for 'Monolog' in Composer in the terminal. Are Monolog and all the other search results included in Composer when we download it? Or does it search the internet from the terminal?

No, they are not included in Composer. Out of the box Composer will search for packages using the Packagist repository, which is an online repository for PHP packages.

Thanks. By any chance, could you help me with another question related to composer?
