Where does document.write insert?

Where in the html document is the value of document.write inserted?

Is it always inserted at the bottom of the document or at the exact spot where the script tag is?

You're right, it adds to the end of the document. But while it is useful for early training, this is not an output method you would likely use in the future on real pages.

As you progress in your studies, you will soon learn about "DOM manipulation" which will allow you to have more control over how (and where) your output will be shown.
