Android Build an Interactive Story App (Retired) Intents and Multiple Activities Getting Data from an Intent

where is error...confused

Q: We previously added a FUEL_LEVEL to our spacecraft. Now in FlightActivity, we want to get the value that we put in the Intent. Start by declaring an Intent variable and getting the Intent used to start this Activity.

Hi Angle,

To pass this, you declare a new Intent and need to extract the extra from it. We're getting an integer from the Intent using the key, FUEL_LEVEL. The method getIntExtra will fetch an integer sent over the intent as an extra, as in previous videos and challenges.

So, your code should end up with something like:

    Intent intent = this.getIntent();
    mFuelLevel = intent.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);

I hope that helps.
