The challenge asks you to add all the <a> tags with the class of external to add the attribute target and set its value to _blank. To do this, just do:

// $("a.external") Selects all anchors with the class external
// .attr("target") - This would select the achor tag target's attribute value
// .attr("target", "_blank") - This would set its value to _blank

$("a.external").attr("target", "_blank");

// The .attr() is a getter and setter
