22,248 PointsWhere is the black checkmark?
In the video, the selected page has a checkmark. I am confused if my code is wrong or simply that the video was shot in a different browser that puts black checkmarks by selected options in <select></select> tags.

12,612 PointsHi Adam Wohlberg I've just had a quick scan through the video but can't see where you mean. Can you state what time in the video it shows/doesn't show, or perhaps share your code / screengrabs of the issue?

22,248 PointsIn on the left side of the words in the select bar (e.g. home, about etc.) there is a black checkmark on the video, but not on mine. I'd be happy to add a screenshot if there was an upload button in this post (i.e. how do you upload an image to these replies?)

12,612 PointsAhh I see, when that page is selected you get a tick character next to the menu item (?)
To add images, there isn't an upload feature; I find uploading the image to a free source such as http://tinypic.com/ then pasting in the code (as per Markdown Cheatsheet) usually works.
From what I can tell, looking at my own site at 'mobile' size in Chrome, Firefox and IE, I don't get the checkmark... perhaps it is added intentionally in the tutorial (I have yet to do this series).
Perhaps Andrew Chalkley can help?
