Which Authentication Course To Choose...

I am currently on the full stack JavaScript track and will move to the React Basics course next. After the track, I'd like to learn about authentication with JavaScript.

Which course should I tackle first?

The "User Authentication With Express and Mongo" Course...

Or the "React Authentication" Course?

Has anyone completed these or have an thoughts on one or the other? Are they related or have any overlap? I was under the impression React was more of a front-end library, so I'm confused why authentication would be implemented in a front-end technology.

Thanks in advance.

Hey David Pierce, I would recommend that React Authentication course. That is much newer than than one with Mongo, which I believe may be in line to be reviewed for consideration for retirement soon.
