Databases Querying Relational Databases Table Relationships One to Many Relationships

Which is ONE and which is MANY? Products or Sales?

So in this example, the Products is the ONE table, and the Sales is the MANY table in the ONE to MANY relationship, is that right? (because one product can relate to many sales). I get a bit thrown off because Products is listed on the right while Sales is listed on the left.

It sounds like you've got it. :+1:

"A Sale has 1 product but a Product can be on many sales."

When you list the "many" table first, it's called a "many-to-one" relationship.
