Which of these commands will NOT take you to your home directory, assuming your username is treehouse?

A: cd ~

B: cd $HOME

C: cd /home

D: cd /home/treehouse

I tried all the answsers on my Mac and they all worked. Why the answers is C? Thank you

/home is the location of all home directories, not a specific user's home directory.
