Why 2 plugin for custom post types instead of 1?

I didnt understand why first plugin is installed (custom post types UI) ?

What is correlation between this 2 plugins?

I think i resolve this.

  1. Custom post types - Create a type of post :)
  2. Custom field - Create field that will be associated with custom post types :)

Yep you got it. Gotta fill our new custom post types with something. That's were our custom fields come in. Got me the first time I started learning it too!
