71,830 PointsThe code you show above works fine in the challenge. I can't tell from your code, as you only included one line, but if you deleted the code you did for Task 1, then it would complain. I.e., you need this to proceed:
let title = "A Dance with Dragons"
let price : Double = 9.99

Treehouse Teacherjcorum is correct. I can confirm that if you delete the first line of code (this one):
title = "A Dance with Dragons"
... the challenge will fail.
