Not sure how @classmethod works but it should be straight forward. I split the str by the hyphen. Iterate through the str and append '.', or '_' to the pattern list and return it. But I am getting the try again error.

The challenge is asking you to return an instance of the class, initialised from the values that your method gets given. Instead you are returning a list.
