why android background like android:background="#fff092b0" not work

when I go to change android background colour in text layout (android: background="#fff092b0) it's not work help me, anyone.

Hi there! Your code is correct, but you left the line right above it intact. It now has not one background color rule, but two. You were meant to change the line immediately above it from "@android:color/white" to "#fff092b0".
