Why aren't we using bootstrap?

Bootstrap is a CSS framework. You are learning to write CSS, not use a framework.

You will learn about the frameworks later, infact there is a course on frameworks(css)--Bootstrap and Foundation. But it is always a good idea to first understand the basics and then move on to the frameworks.

We had better learn the basics first then later move to the next stair for more advance topics like CSS framework, This basics can give you the foundation of making the framework
