why can i not find anything but completed project files in the files download folder?

so i downloaded the project files as instructed in the video......yet no matter which folder i go into and run npm install, then npm start i get a fully finished project? i thought id followed the steps in the video incorrectly or gone intyo the wrong foloder and run npm.....so i deleted the course files found a folder that DIDNT say FINAL next to it and ran npm install.....................again i was presented with a fully completed project, it makes it a little difficult to "Follow along" if all the work has already been done.

Also why is it that when i download project files to follow along i am often presented with multiple versions of the same project......just a different points of completion, wouldnt it make more sense to give someone the project files as they are at the start of the lesson??..............................you know, so you can kind of "follow/code along with the tutor??"

its really not good, if im trying to learn why would i want a copy of the completed project or even several versions of the same project at various stages of completion????

Someone explain please, its a little annoying. am i supposed to sit here and delete all the code that he hasnt written at the start of the video so i can "Code along"?? because im just sitting here watching a video, and all the code seems to have already bee written for me!!!!!!

Hi Ellis,

My guess would be that you are downloading the files from the Download tab?

In the video, he states that he will link the starter files in the Teacher's Notes section. The first line in the Teacher's Notes section, under the header of "Starter Files", is a link to download the project files.
