Why CSS Layout Techniques isnt included in Front end development program?

I noticed that CSS LAYOUT TECHNIQUES isnt included in Fronte end dev program, only in Web Design?

I think the Front End Web Development (FEWD) track just wants to show you the essentials of CSS, enough so you can understand how to do a basic layout. The CSS Layout Techniques course is in the Web Design track because it goes into more depth and so is more appropriate for designing web pages, something a pure FEWD wouldn't necessarily do, but certainly would if they wore both hats in a team.

If you finish the FEWD track but want to learn more about CSS, then you would take the Web Design course. They break those areas apart in a general attempt to capture the level of knowledge needed in those complimentary areas of expertise. There is nothing preventing someone from taking both tracks if they want to.
