I wanted to know why we added .dispenser before mCharacterName

in main {} you make the Dispenser called dispenser using the public constructor of Dispenser.java To refer to the Dispenser you just made you should put the name you just gave to your Dispenser (dispenser) before any action you want to perform with that dispenser.
