Why do we need a dot here?

Hi. why do we need dot before ===> ./database.db in our code? $db = new PDO('sqlite:./database.db');

./ is saying to use current directory for database.db

" . " = to current directory.

Think of when you use " . " in command line.

For example, say you use atom as your IDE of choice, and you type " atom . " in the command line, it would open the files in the directory you're in, using atom.

Hope this helps.
