Why do we use constraints?

?

We use constraints because we want to make sure that our apps react correctly to changes in screen size and orientation.

Just like how many web pages react differently on different screen sizes, constraints allow our apps to react differently across different iOS devices.

This means that we can make our app once and be confident that it will look great on the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 7.. iPad.. etc.
