PHP PHP Basics (Retired) PHP Datatypes PHP Datatypes Challenge

Why does code challenge not recognize my $colors php array?

I always receive the following error when completing step 7 of PHP Datatypes Challenge:

Bummer! $colors does not seem to exist

Somehow line 11 must be causing the compiler to not recognize my $colors array anymore. Does anyone see a problem? Thanks!

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$integer_one = 1;
$integer_two = 2;
$golden = 1.618;
$bool = true;
$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green');
echo $colors[1];

$favorate_colors = array( 'mike' => 'green', 'jane' => 'blue', 'chris' => 'yellow');

?>

Hi Joseph,

There's a spelling error in favorite_colors - you have an 'a' instead of an 'i'. Fixing this will pass the challenge :)

Cheers!

Thanks Robert! Glad it was a typo and not a conceptual misunderstanding on my part!
