Why initiator only show index.html on my browser?

In my browser (google chrome) initiator shows only index.html as a request starter also instead of timeline I got waterfall which I can't find how to sort the items as shown in the video

Hi Stefan. I know it has been two years since you last posted the question, but I just have to answer it, just in case if someone find themselves in a similar situation as you were.

You can right-click any column header, go to Waterfall, and choose Latency. And when you hover over the text 'index' under the Initiator column, a pop-up message appears with the same value as the one shown in the video

I got the same issue as well. And I think in the years after the video was posted, Chrome developer decided to update the Network panel to simplify how it looks like, hence the differences in the look of the panel.
