Why is my background still white

body { text-align: center;

}

h1 { font-size: 72px; color: white;
}

header { background-color: orange;

}

p { font-size: 20px;

}

Background-color is white by default. The css on header is correct. Do you have <header></header> in your HTML? Please also check if you have closed all tags before <header> properly
