I have written the correct function, but it is not recognized.

def random_num(u_b):
rand_num = randint(1, u_b)
return rand_num

7,525 PointsHa! Like a boss, forgot reference the library "random" when calling randint(). Had:
rand_num = randint(1, u_b)
instead of
rand_num = random.randint(1, u_b)
All fixed. Thanks guys.
