Why is my working code giving me Bummer?

I ran the below code and got the correct response from python, but it Challenges it shows me Bummer. Why?

strlen.py 
def just_right(str1):
    if len(str1) < 5:
        print("Your string is too short")
    elif len(str1) > 5:
        print("Your string is too long")
    else:
        return True

Hi Bapi,

You should be returning the strings and not printing them.
