Why is the background not orange

Is their something wrong with my html or css

1 Answer

Not sure where you may have a mistake but once you've created the main.css file in your CSS folder, and linked it to your index.html file (which can be achieved by adding:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

beneath the existing <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> line of code in the index.html file.

type into the main.css file:

body { background-color: orange; }

and refresh your page, it should now be orange.
