Why is the mac javascript shortcut not working?

The Cmd + Option + J command is not working to pull up javascript.

Are you using Chrome? If not, it's likely a different shortcut. In Safari (macOS's default browser), Command+Option+C opens the JavaScript Console instead

Are you pressing them all at the same time? It works properly on my machine. I'm on a Mid-2015 MacBook Pro running macOS 10.13 High Sierra Developer Beta 3, with Safari 11.0 (13604.1.28.2), but I believe this shortcut has been around for much longer, so I think it should work on your computer also
