I'm not sure what you mean by "so basic", but this course is marked as "intermediate" level. Also, in the "Teacher's Notes" provided with the introduction video, it lists these pre-requisites:

Have you already completed all of those?

Oh thank you for sending me the links, that helps a lot actually! For some reason, I wasn't able to find the proper videos to start JAVA from the very beginning for absolute noobs. cheers!
