Why is this giving me an error

this is giving me an error saying that I did not add a constructor with the String type

Spaceship.java
public class Spaceship {
    public String mType;
} // <-- this closes the class - delete it!

  public Spaceship (){
    mType = "SHUTTLE";
  }

 public Spaceship(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
}

You closed your class braces too soon - I've added a comment in your code.

Thanks!!!! I can't believe that I could not spot that silly mistake.

No problem ... it is easy to miss any errors if you've been looking at the code for a while. That's why the forums work so well - someone has a fresh look at your code and sees the error more easily.
