Which question are you referring to? However, yes you can technically put style inside of a style tag but this is pretty frowned upon. Only do this if it's a small project. And even then, just use an external style sheet.

One of the questions does ask about tags, and your answer should have been correct for that one if it was given as a single word with no symbols.

Otherwise, please quote the question you're having trouble with and show exactly what you gave as the answer.
