why it did not work? half lower and half upper

why it did not work?

silly.py
# The first half of the string, rounded with round(), should be lowercased.
# The second half should be uppercased.
# E.g. "Treehouse" should come back as "treeHOUSE"
def sillycase(string):
  middle=int(len(string)/2)
  return string[:middle].lower()+string[middle:].upper()

You're really close!

:point_right: The int function truncates, try using round instead.

Hey Steven, can you elaborate what you mean when you say that it truncates? I'm not quite sure what that means in this context, could you give a simple example/illustration?

Cheers

wow thank's it worked! :)
