Why Nick needed to wrap the start of section to the end of footer with <div>?

I understand the use of <div>, but why exactly Nick needed to wrap the start of section to the end of footer?

Someone may correct me on this, but he was basically using this to apply the same styles across several page elements and have them respond in the same way dependant on screen width.

You're applying an automatic horizontal margin to the section and footer sections and that ensures that they're both centred and respond based on the screen width.

You're right! I realized this after the next video!
