Why the Illustrator date on the video with Mat says it was created in 1986 and when I open the Illustraotr it says its from 1987 . Why?

Courses Plus Student 18,830 PointsIt was first developed, or "created" in 1986. However it wasn't actually released to the public 'till 1987, hence the 1987 it mentions when you open it.
